The most famous Scottish Terrier
One of the most famous Scottish Terrier on the world is Barney, the one that is the dog of the former U.S. President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. Barney was often referred to as the ’First Dog’ and was such famous that he even had his own official web page that was part of the official White House website. This little dog also starred in 11 government film productions from 2002 to 2008, especially in Christmas videos of the White House. Not just the former president, but Barney has also been criticized by Russian president Vladimir Putin who told to Bush that a true world leader should own large and robust dogs, not small toy dogs like Barney.
As we can read in Barney’s biography, the Scottish Terrier breed is very playful and independent. They are also very intelligent and determined, so early socialization and obedience training is a must for this breed.
